About AtSpace
At AtSpace, we design electronics for space with a clear purpose. Our mission is to create robust, space-grade systems while continuously striving for efficiency, simplicity, and the avoidance of unnecessary waste — in technology, in processes, and in how we work together.
We believe great engineering is built through real collaboration, shared responsibility, and human connection. That is why AtSpace values a workplace where people regularly work together on-site, exchange ideas face to face, and build genuine professional relationships. Space may be our field of work, but being grounded remains essential to who we are.
If you are looking to contribute to meaningful projects, work with people who care about what they build, and be part of a team that values craftsmanship over quick wins, you may feel at home at AtSpace.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to support and strengthen our space projects. In this role, you will design, analyze, and validate electronic schematics for high-reliability applications, where quality and long-term performance are critical.
You will work closely with system engineers, layout designers, FPGA experts, and test engineers — not as isolated disciplines, but as a carefully composed team, much like a well-designed PCB.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic schematics for space and high-reliability applications
Perform in-depth analysis to ensure performance, reliability, and robustness
Support testing activities and identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Produce clear and structured documentation, including design descriptions, analyses, and test reports
Troubleshoot and resolve design issues, optimizing for performance, manufacturability, testability, and efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering
Solid experience in analogue and digital circuit design
Proficiency with schematic design tools (e.g. Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, or similar)
Experience with PCB layout and close cooperation with layout engineers
Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while actively contributing to a team environment
Nice to Have
Experience with FMEA, reliability analysis, worst-case analysis, or parts stress analysis
Familiarity with ESA standards or space-industry practices
